On Wednesday, 17 June, Matteo Michelini of the Cnr-Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale “Antonio Zampolli” (CNR-ILC) will present the paper “A Fit-for-Purpose Epistemology of Highly Idealized Models – Michelini Matteo; Dunja Šešelja” at the 10th International Conference on Model-Based Reasoning: Epistemology, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science (MBR026_ROME), organised by Sapienza Università di Roma and Università di Pavia. Michelini will talk about how we should use highly idealised computational models and how can we learn from them.
The conference MBR026_ROME (Rome, 17-19 June 2026) will investigate the logical, epistemological, and cognitive dimensions of modeling practices across science, technology (with particular attention to AI), and cognitive science. This includes both logical and computational approaches to modeling.
