The figurative language has exercised a theoretical fascination that extends from the Philosophy to the Neurosciences.
Despite the vastness of studies, many aspects of his understanding remain obscure.
The seminar will present the main models that have attempted, from a psychological point of view, to explain how speakers understand metaphors and idiomatic expressions and the neural bases underlying these processes.
