Description:
The seminar aims at addressing the theme of Open Science, which has become central to both national and European research policies.
The topic will be addressed starting from an analysis of the roles of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and of the European thematic cloud dedicated to Social Sciences and Humanities (SSHOC), in the attempt to create the Internet of data and services, in particular for SSH.
A specific attention will then be given to the objectives and results of European projects (including TRIPLE), international initiatives (such as the CO-OPERAS GOFAIR Implementation Network) and national and international networks focusing on the theme and practices of Open Science and in which ILC is involved.
The last part of the seminar will finally focus on some open questions and possible future research paths and projects.
