Description:
The Workshop, organized within the project Representing religious diversity in Europe: past and present features (PRIN 2017 | 2020-2023), will provide, firstly, a reflection on religious diversity in the context of a values-driven public discourse on global challenges and, secondly, a presentation of the project’s progress and a discussion with historians of religions and computational linguists.
It will be held by Prof. Philip Mc Donagh, former Ambassador of Ireland in Finland, Russia, India and at the Holy See and OSCE, and Director of the Centre for Religion, Human Values, and International Relations of the Dublin City University.
A speech will also be held by Alberto Melloni, Academician of the Lincei, one of the seven Chief Scientific Officers at the European Commission (the first Italian in the role since the establishment of the function) and Leader of the European Academy of Religion.
