Lectures on Computational Linguistics 2023

The 2023 edition of the Lectures on Computational Linguistics will focus on the latest models to learn and represent knowledge in mono- and multi-modal contexts, with particular emphasis on the most recent large language models. The event will cover various aspects related to the generation and transfer of knowledge, their interpretation, and explainability. The topics will be explored both from a theoretical perspective of linguistic and computer studies and in applicative scenarios oriented towards Digital Humanities and Natural Language Processing.

The Lectures are organised by the Associazione Italiana di Linguistica Computazionale (AILC) in collaboration with Cnr-Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale “Antonio Zampolli” (CNR-ILC) and the Department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics of the University of Pisa.
