The group on Arabic and Digital Humanities coordinated by the Professorship of Arabic Language and Literature at the Università degli Studi “Roma Tre” brings together professors, researchers and PhD students from both Italian and foreign universities.
The group’s guidelines evolve from a common project, namely the adoption of digital tools for the study of the Arabic history and culture through linguistic tools.
The projects which are currently ongoing concern Universal Dependencies, Text Encoding and Lemmatization applied to corpora in classical, standard and informal Arabic.
