The following set of morphological features are pertinent to Verbs in the Portuguese model GENELEX: Mood, Tense, Person, Gender and Number. The generation of the inflected forms of a given verb system is based on the various combinations of these features. Some features are not pertinent to the characterisation of some wordforms, as we explain below.
