Indefinite

Italian Indefinites are inflected for Gender and Number.

They cover the English class of Quantifiers; some English practices (cf. Brown Corpus) usually encode some quantifiers as Predeterminers, (e.g. ``all the girls''), on the basis of their peculiar behaviour, i.e. they precede the determiner. `Tutto' in Italian has the same behaviour, which is not annotated:

``tutte le ragazze'' DI/fp

Some can only be pronominal adjectives, i.e. determiners in this proposal: `ogni', `qualche', `qualunque', `qualsiasi', `qualsivoglia'.

``ogni colpa si sconta'' DI/fs

`Alcuno', `ciascuno', `taluno', `nessuno', `tutto', `alquanto', `poco', `molto', `troppo', `tanto' can have both the pronoun and pronominal adjective/determiner function:

``ho letto tutto il libro'' DI/ms
