Preliminary Recommendations

Tense

AttributeValue Ir. example Ir. tag
Tense Indicative Scríobh (sé) [he wrote]VIND
Imperative Scríodh (sé)VINP
Condition Scriobhfadh (sé)VCON
Subjunct (Go) scríofa (sé)VSUB

As in English, the present tense has habitual aspect. A simple present requires `tá' + `ag' (`at') + verbal noun, e.g. ``Tá sé ag scríobh'' (`He is (at) writing'). Further values of Aspect (perfective, imperfect) require composite forms and thus the morphology of Aspect in Irish may be considered complete at this point.
