The application to German takes into consideration the tagset developed in the project Text Corpora und Erschließungswerkzeuge (TC) and at IMS Stuttgart (hereafter called the IMS-Tagset) in collaboration with the project Korpusunterstützte Entwicklung lexikalischer Wissensbasen für die Computerlinguistik (ELWIS) at the University of Tübingen.
