Preliminary Recommendations

Voice

This is a language specific morphological feature, since Swedish, like other Scandinavian languages, possesses a special passive suffix (`-s'). (There also exists a composite or periphrastic passive.) The feature takes the values active and passive and is applicable to finite, supine and infinite forms.

Attribute Value Sw. example Sw. tag
Voice aktiv skrev vb-past-act
passiv skrevs vb-past-s-pas

NB: The features Tense and Voice are realised in just that order; thus:

vb(finite) past pass
` kör' `-de' `-s'
