The two main tags applied in Catalan to Nouns are M and F, depending on the gender. This allows us to differentiate at the level of the lemma the gender of nouns (which is considered as inherent to the category) and the gender of adjectives (which is marked as a characteristic of the form). An automatic mapping for these two tags into a common one could be possible.
