- Strong personal pronouns are personal pronouns which are in complementary
distribution with weak personal pronouns. They can for example occupy the position
after a preposition (whereas weak personal pronouns do not), and they can be a
reinforcement of weak personal pronouns.
Given X a pronoun, Y a weak personal pronoun;
If X can occupy the position after a preposition, or if X is a reinforcement of Y,
X can be a strong personal pronoun.
