Indefinite vs. Demonstrative Pronouns and Determiners

 

Problem:

The core indefinite pronouns (PIS) and determiners (PIAT) and demonstrative pronouns (PDS) and determiners (PDAT) distribute very similarly (in the place of the article, or substituting an NP, for most cases).

However, there is a problem class of wordforms somewhere between an adjective and a core indefinite pronoun: viel-, all-, beid-, and another class of indefinite pronouns (noninflected) that can stand before an article. So, indefinite pronouns and determiners as a class distribute very heterogeneously.
