{"id":7120,"date":"2022-08-12T02:18:36","date_gmt":"2022-08-12T00:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ilc.cnr.it\/progetti\/kelly\/"},"modified":"2023-07-24T09:56:10","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T07:56:10","slug":"kelly","status":"publish","type":"progetti","link":"https:\/\/www.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/progetti\/kelly\/","title":{"rendered":"KELLY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">KELLY aimed at developing language learning word cards with a language&#8217;s most frequent words corresponding to the European Framework.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was developed for nine languages important for trade and associated countries, both LWUTL (Swedish, Norwegian, Greek, Polish) and MWUTL (Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian and Italian), as a complementary learning material.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The most frequent words were developed in cooperation with lexical computational centers in each language&#8217;s country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project refined existing frequency lists and adapted them to the Framework.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project allocated words to both the Framework six levels and to KELLY thematic classification in fifteen subject categories (Food &amp; Drink, Nature &amp; Animals etc.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Visualized schematically in KELLY Syllabus, the project allowed teachers to deal with words systematically.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Corresponding to all six levels of the Framework, the project ensured target group flexibility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Young and adults, beginners to advanced alike, could easily set clear aims, plan studies accordingly and control one&#8217;s progress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project was evaluated while in use by students in upper secondary schools and adult education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Results were promoted on a Web page, in media and at conferences\/seminars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KELLY aimed at developing language learning word cards with a language&#8217;s most frequent words corresponding to the European Framework.
