Project partners: Universit\u00e0 di Tor Vergata, Universit\u00e0 \u201cL\u2019Orientale\u201d di NAPOLI, Universit\u00e0 ROMA TRE, Universit\u00e0 di MACERATA, Universit\u00e0 di PISA, ILC-CNR.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project aims at studying both from a synchronic and from a diachronic perspective the phenomenon of the synthetic and shorted messages\u2019 production, from its contemporary expressions (short writings used for e-mails, sms and chats) to the other abbreviations\u2019 strategies peculiar to Italian and dialectal graphic and linguistic systems.
