class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p><strong>Third Mission<\/strong> is an institutional mission of universities and research institutions, along with the traditional missions of teaching and research activities (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.anvur.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Manuale%20di%20valutazione%20TM~.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"aCOpRe ljeAnf\">ANVUR&#8217;s Manual<\/span> for the Evaluation of the Third Mission<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-49128e64-af64-4d88-aae6-5b391f3a510b\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anvur.it\/en\/homepage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ANVUR<\/strong><\/a> (Italian National Agency\nfor the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) defines third mission as &#8220;<strong>propensity of structures to be open towards the socio-economic context through the exploitation and knowledge transfer<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research and development activities are crucial to generate more employment, welfare and social cohesion.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Cnr-Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale &#8220;Antonio Zampolli&#8221;<\/strong> promotes the advancement of scientific research activities and technology transfer to meet the needs of citizens and foster the competitiveness of the production system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Innovation in the field of Computational Linguistics contributes to address crucial challenges for the strategic areas of society<\/strong>, in line with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>the objectives of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenziacoesione.gov.it\/comunicazione\/agenda-2030-per-lo-sviluppo-sostenibile\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the national strategy <a href=\"https:\/\/innovazione.gov.it\/italia-digitale-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Italia digitale 2026<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.innovazione.gov.it\/1637777289-programma-strategico-iaweb.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Artificial Intelligence Strategic Program 2022-2024<\/a><\/strong> of the Italian Government.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" exploitation<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CNR-ILC<\/strong> collaborates with companies through <strong>technological or consulting services<\/strong>, <strong>collaborative research activities<\/strong>, <strong>joint laboratories<\/strong>, <strong>participation in spin offs<\/strong> and <strong> Research and Innovation regional funded projects<\/strong> in collaboration with local companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the exploitation of research results and technology transfer, the Institute has had and still has numerous collaborations with public authorities, SMEs and large Italian and international industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By collaborating with specialists from other disciplines, <strong>the Institute has developed innovative methods and technologies that can be applied in different fields<\/strong>, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Public Administration and Third Sector;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education and Training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural Heritage and Tourism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Technology transfer involves skills acquired in multiple fields of Computational Linguistics, as well as linguistic resources and technologies that have been integrated into <strong>application products for the realisation of advanced capabilities for analysing and processing even large and develops and delivers tools for <strong>text processing<\/strong> and <strong>knowledge extraction<\/strong> based on <strong>Natural Language Processing (NLP)<\/strong> and <strong>Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong> techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talia offers specialised solutions and services in morphological analysis, syntactic analysis, name entity recognition, meaningful knowledge extraction, classification, clustering, ontology learning, ontology population and sentiment analysis in Saas (software as a service) mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
