In my presentation I will illustrate some aspects of this sector, from the field of interest (what and which are &#8220;low-resourced&#8221; languages?) to the main challenges and problems that currently concern them, to conclude with a rundown of some of the most important initiatives of the last decade.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speaker(s): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/people\/claudia-soria\/\">Claudia Soria<\/a><\/h3>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" height=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ilc.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Soria-Claudia.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12924\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is among the authors of the META-NET White Paper &#8220;The Italian language in the digital age&#8221;. Her research interests revolve around the use of language technologies for the protection and enhancement of linguistic diversity and intangible cultural heritage.
