Linguistic levels

The "blocks of features" mentionned above refer to the traditional "linguistic levels":

Additional sets of information, which are not "levels" in a traditional sense are attached to these blocks when it is necessary. They consist of terminology pragmatics involving communication situations, professional usages, standardization and prescriptions, etc. and general pragmatics related to geographic preferences and diachronic specificities.
