Semantic criterion

  1. Indefinite pronouns indicate either that for a class of objects, which are only present in the linguistic or extra-linguistic context, this class is completely empty (aucun), or that it is completely full (chacun), or that an undelimited part of it is full (certains). Indefinite pronouns can also indicate ``identity'' (même) or ``otherness'' (autre). We also consider the pronoun on as an indefinite pronoun.
