Confusion with other type-values

Some adjectives can have the type-value indefinite adjective and qualitative adjective.

Test

If X has the values +quantity, -countability, or +identity, or +otherness, and if X can - with the same signification - only be in anteposition to the noun, then X/type=indf; otherwise, X/type=qual

The plural forms of the morphological units différent, divers and certains can either be a qualitative adjective, or an indefinite determiner.

Test

If X is in postposition to the noun, X/pos=a & type=qual; otherwise, if X is in anteposition to the noun, and if X is at the left end of the NP, X/pos=d & type=indf.

Confusions can be made between the type-values ord and qual.

Test

If X denotes the numeric rank of an element, X/type=ord; otherwise, if X denotes a non-numeric rank, X/type=indf.
