Feature use

  In German, predicative adjectives are not inflected (no agreement in gender, case, number with noun). There are two criteria to distinguish between attributive and non-attributive use (adverbial or predicative):

• inflexion: everything inflected is always attr.
  • der grüne/attr   Tisch
• position: Noninflected adjectives in prenominal position are also tagged attr. Noninflectable adjectives in prenominal position are also tagged attr.
  • in ganz/attr   Deutschland
  • der super/attr   Film
• Noninflected adjectives in postnominal position are tagged nattr.
