Tagset evaluation

 

The purpose of the tagset evaluation test is to analyze the impact of tagset variants on tagging results. Examples of such tagset variants are:

More details on these types of modifications are given below, in section 5.3.1.

Such changes typically appear when a tagset is developed over a certain time frame, and when ``tuning work'' is carried out, to improve the tagging results. An example is the development of STTS out of IMS/TUE and the development of the current RXRC tagset, as well out of IMS/TUE.
